It is that time of year again that we covet at Pre-Made Paleo: Hatch Pepper Season! What makes the hatch pepper so special?
The hatch pepper is exclusively grown in the Hatch Valley of New Mexico, an area that stretches north and south along the Rio Grande.
Hatch peppers are only in season from the beginning of August to early in September. We are usually sitting on the edge of our seats all summer waiting to get our hands on these things!
These delicious peppers are truly one of a kind. They are spicy enough to add a kick, but not too spicy to turn your mouth into a flaming fire ball. They are a MUST TRY if you have not had them before!
