Lisu Pork

This menu item is native to Asia. The Lisu are a cultural group who live in the mountains of the southwestern Yunnan province, high above the valleys of the Mekong and Salween Rivers. Lisu Pork is a low-carb, gluten free item containing the following ingredients: pork loin, figs, onion, apple cider, balsamic vinegar, ginger, clarified butter (butter oil), garlic, spices, pepper, salt, and orange.

 

Cochinita Pibil

This traditional, and near ancient dish, harking from the Mayan people in the Yucatán peninsula of Mexico is a slow roasted pork dish. Also known as 'Puerco Pibil" or Cochinita con Achiote.'
